1. Acceptance
By installing or using Authentic (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”).
If you use iOS, these Terms supplement Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End-User License Agreement (LAEULA). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Who can use Authentic
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. In the EEA, you must meet your country’s digital-consent age (13–16) if a feature relies on consent. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
3. Privacy & security
We do not sell your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and why. Content is protected with TLS in transit and encryption at rest. Authorized staff may access specific items only as needed to operate the service, enforce these Terms, or comply with law.
4. Your content & license
You own your content. You grant Authentic a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, display, and technically adapt your content solely to operate the service. This license ends within 30 days after you delete the content or your account (allowing for reasonable backup and log roll-off). We do not claim ownership in your copyrights.
5. User rules
Do not post content that is illegal; sexually exploits minors; incites violence; or includes doxxing, threats, or hate targeting protected classes.
Do not violate others’ intellectual-property or privacy rights.
Do not harass, spam, or scam users.
Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or bypass security/rate limits.
Do not use the App in a way that interferes with, damages, or overloads the service.
We may update community rules from time to time and enforce them reasonably.
6. Safety, reporting & enforcement
Report tools: You can report content or accounts in-app or via support@authentic.tech. We review reports promptly and take action consistent with these Terms.
Block: You can block other users from interacting with you. You may also unblock later from the same place.
Filtering — objectionable material: We use automated measures (e.g., keyword filtering on handles, bios, and captions; new-user rate limits) to reduce objectionable content from being posted. If your submission triggers a filter, posting will be blocked and you’ll see a clear error.
EU notices/appeals: Where required (e.g., under EU law), if we restrict content or accounts, we will provide a brief reason and a way to appeal.
7. Copyright (DMCA)
We respect intellectual property and will remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material in accordance with 17 U.S.C. §512. If you believe your copyrighted work was posted without permission, contact our Designated Agent:

8. App updates & beta features
We may release updates, tests, or early features from time to time. Some features may be labeled Preview, Beta, [Rolling out], or [WIP] and may change, break, or be withdrawn.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time in Settings (this starts the deletion process). We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or create risk or legal exposure for us.
10. Disclaimers; limitation of liability
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AUTHENTIC AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO US $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where not permitted by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Governing law; venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflicts-of-law rules, and disputes will be heard in Delaware state or federal courts. If you are an EEA consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of your local law, and you may bring claims in your local courts where required by law.
12. Changes to these Terms
If we make material changes, we’ll notify you in-app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use after that date means you accept the new Terms.
