What happens next

  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal or disabling was a mistake or misidentification.

  4. Your name, postal address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for your address, or if outside the U.S., for any judicial district in which we may be found (including the District of Nevada), and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant.


Restoration timeline
Unless we receive notice that the complainant has filed a court action, we may restore the material within 10–14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notice.

Repeat infringers and misuse
